The book is broken into two parts: the concepts needed for the long term and the basics, descriptions of specific financial products or elements. Written with as much humor as appropriate, and without the minutia, the focus is on providing the information which an individual might need to comfortably talk to an accountant, broker or other financial advisor. Bob Burson has worked in the accounting field for over thirty years. He has a master's degree in finance and is a partner in a CPA firm. His job is to provide understandable explanations of complex topics so his clients can make intelligent and useful decisions.
